I'm taking a terrible risk telling you this (the CX brotherhood has it's spies): there is no figuring out cyclocross. Here lies madness.
When I was a kid, I thought "Fort Buenaventura" was a funny nickname for the city dump. Wasn't until I hit college (Weber State, of course) that I realized it was a separate entity. Apropos of nothing, I know, but I was reminded.
