I Think I'll Wear Pants

I stood in line for over an hour last night waiting to pick up my Lotoja packet. I had heard rumors that they are making all entrants get an ink mark on their leg as part of the race requirements.

My fear was realized last night as I stood there while an old man branded my left calf with this:

I think I'll wear pants for the next couple of days. I'm very embarrassed to walk around with this thing.

Are you a triathlete? I full on expect you to write your race number with a sharpie on your other calf. Also please wear a sleeveless jersey an write your number on your shoulders. I expect proof in pictures Monday.

that brand is worse than the ubiquitous lotoja stickers

The next big thing: take a picture of your calf, convert it into a sticker, and put the sticker in your rear window. Everybody's doing it. At least they will be.

I have ink sensitivity syndrome. You think that would be a legitimate reason to bail on this ride?

So if I want to ride lotoja bandit, all I have to to do is stencil that thing on my leg?

Grizzly,

You can have mine. Just lick my calf and press your calf up to mine.

I think the LOTOJA people just wanted to see those things all over Logan. All Marketing. You can't trust Marketing people.

I don't have anything to say on this topic. Nope. Nada. (Blood is trickling from my mouth from my bit tongue.)
