Bad Thoughts

I managed to sneek out on my road bike yesterday with enough time for a double Suncrest before it got dark. I left my helmet in the car which seemed like the right move during the climb up the south side. But quickly seemed like the wrong move as I descended the north side. With all the snow melt, sand, & salt on the roads, I couldn't get this image out of my head:

This image is always in the back of my mind whenever I go downhill fast the road.
